Volunteers
Volunteers are an essential and vital part of Vines Road Community Centre Inc. starting with the Board of Management ( the 9 members are all volunteers ) and continuing through all levels of the organisation.
As proud long term members of the Neighbourhood House movement, Vines Road Community Centre values the role of volunteering as essential to the organisation and fully subscribes to the Universal Declaration on Volunteering as detailed on the Volunteering Australia website.
At Vines Road Community Centre, volunteers are respected for their skills and talents and are considered an equal partner in the provision of quality services by Vines Road Community Centre.
Centre Management aims to maximise volunteers’ potential by creating opportunities to utilize their talents and abilities, to develop social connections, increase existing skills and develop a greater knowledge and understanding of their community.
